q Individual Assignment – How does technology harm us?
§ 1000 words essay with a critical analysis of a real-world incident
where artificial intelligence (AI) has caused substantial and
undeserved harm - (30% due in W6)
q Group Assignment – Digitalisation for the common good
§ 3000 words Case Study Report (30% due in W13)
§ 4 content slides / 10 mins Case Study Presentation (10% in-class
in W12)
q Individual Reflective Journal
§ 2000 words journal covering what you learned, how you learned it,
and why it matters to you. Also, what you unlearned, three
provocations, and a tough question for us. (30% due in W13)

Tone
q All written parts should be written in a professional, scientific
tone. Conclusions are always drawn from evidence.

q The deliverables should be visually appealing. Note: All
submission documents must be formatted to PDF.
Use of figures, tables, and appendices
q All tables, figures, graphs, charts, drawings, or appendices
should be accurate, consistent with the text, and of good
quality. Note: Figures, tables, and appendices are never
included in the word count.
Use of references
q Prior work is acknowledged with great care s. References are
used in accordance with the Business School guidelines, using
APA 7th. Note: References are never included in the word count.

q Lectures will be in-person and recorded and
available on Canvas on the lecture date or
soon thereafter.
q Mostly based on the readings. Good idea to
come prepared and ask lots of questions.
