Assessment task 2: Conference paper
1. What do I have to do?
Imagine you are preparing to speak at an industry
conference (you can choose which industry).
Your job is to write a paper that:
• identifies two problems caused by businesses
in this industry in a specific location, and
• proposes two solutions to those problems.
Create a single pdf document including:
• The MGTS7610 cover page (see Blackboard)
• Your problem-solving (SPSE) paper and
Reference List presented in the table format
provided (see Blackboard).
• A critical reflection on your conference paper
(see “9. Critical reflection” below).
Your paper MUST:
• answer one of these questions:
o What problems do businesses cause by
ignoring gender equity in the
workplace? How can businesses address
these problems?
o What problems do businesses cause by
using greenwashing tactics in the
workplace? How can businesses address
these problems?
If you change the question, you will receive a grade of
zero (0) for the WHOLE ASSIGNMENT.
• be 1,500 words long (plus or minus 10%;
not including the reference list) PLUS 300-
350 words for the Critical Reflection

9. Critical Reflection (300–350 words)
The Critical Reflection part of this assessment
task aims to help you think critically about your

likely to react to it.
