EXAM PREP
• This is an open book assessment – all materials permitted
• Required/recommended materials Course readings, lecture discussions,
lecture slides. You may consult more widely if they wish.
• You may use any publicly available material you want, including books,
journal papers, the media, etc.

❖ Answer two questions as shown below:
1. Question 1 (compulsory)
2. Questions 2 (Choose one of the two questions)
❖ Applying critical thinking and relevant authoritative frameworks
❖ Use illustrative examples and tables and diagram where possible and relevant.
❖ Each question will require an essay-style response approximately 500-700 words in
length. (Include two-three key references for each question, which are not part of the word
count)
❖ References: A minimum of five references in total are required from authoritative sources
using APA or Harvard format.
❖ Each question will be marked out of 20.

❖ Marking criteria: Responses will be assessed according to coverage of the relevant issues;
depth of analysis; and communication quality/writing.
❖ Responses provided in bullet points without the appropriate detail will be awarded only
partial marks.
❖ Provide comprehensive answers (within the word count limit). Answer all aspects of the
question.
❖ Include specific details drawn from this course (including course readings, lecture
discussions, lecture slides and other materials such as individual essay and company report)
and try to avoid overly general / purely descriptive answers

completely alone and individually.
❖ You cannot cut-and-paste material other than your own work as answers.
❖ You are not permitted to consult any other person – whether directly, online, or through
