times are Australian Eastern Standard Time (i.e., “Sydney time”).
INSTRUCTIONS
1 You are required to answer TWO (2) questions out of the three options available to you.
2 This examination is worth 20% of the available marks for this course.
3 The number of marks allocated is shown at the end of each question.
4 The overall word limit of your exam submission is 1500 words in total. The combined
response to both questions in the exam must not exceed 1500 words. The word limit
doesn’t include your reference list. It does include citations within the text. A minimum of
5 academic sources (peer reviewed articles) should be included.
5 Answer each question on a separate page.
6 This is an open-book examination. Responses should be based on course concepts but can
incorporate material from sources beyond the course textbook and readings.
7 Your exam response should be submitted as a word document file on the Subject Moodle
webpage adjacent to where you downloaded this document.
8 For this assessment task, you may use standard editing and referencing software, but not
generative AI. You are permitted to use the full capabilities of standard software to
answer the questions (e.g. software such as Microsoft Office suite or Grammarly).
If the use of generative AI such as ChatGPT is detected, it will be regarded as serious
academic misconduct and subject to the standard penalties, which may include 00FL,
suspension and exclusion.
