Group Coursework – week 2
Instructions
• In Teamwork Assignment 2 – week (2), country-expert project teams will be required to write a
report to compare the corporate governance systems and practices between companies under
study by each group member. You should discuss with other members of your team the criteria
that you would like to propose to conduct your comparative analysis (for example, the number
of independent directors, compliance with the code of corporate governance, and role of the
audit committee…)
• Your report should include:
– A list of the criteria proposed to compare corporate governance systems and practices
– A comparative analysis between companies based on each criteria
– A summary of your comparative analysis and overall ranking: which company is doing
the best? On which criteria is it? Which one is doing worse?
– A conclusion about the limitations of your work
• You must include a list of references (minimum. 10) for all documents supporting your (from
libraries, the internet, or the public domain) at the end of your report
• Your work should be submitted before the deadline on Saturday, 30th December, at 13 pm.
