In this individual assignment you are required to apply entrepreneurial concepts, including lean startup tools and methods to conceptualise your own persona innovative idea to address a complex social issue of your choice. This should typically be the same issue which you have been working on since the start of the module.

This individual assignment will allow you to demonstrate a deep understanding of the complexity of a determined social issue and various social entrepreneurial approaches that could address it. The essay will be 2500 words.

For your essay, you will have to select a specific social issue of local interest and global relevance, analyse is in-depth and work on the question: How can [your social issue] be addressed entrepreneurially?

From your examination of your chosen social issue and its circumstances, you will have to justify which of the main approaches to social entrepreneurship you deem most suitable to address your particular issue. You have to justify this based on your critical analysis of these approaches, according to the academic literature.

Evidently, you are expected to go beyond mere descriptive accounts. You are expected to be research and use selected sources (scholarly articles and industry data) to substantiate your arguments.
