ECON3116 Week 3 Short Report Question
This is a 800-word report where you will summarize a trade talk about real world
trade issues and relate to the topics we study in Weeks 1-3. You can choose either
of the following trade talks:
1. Pinelopi Goldberg on Trade and Inequality: Theory and Evidence

In your report, you need to address the following tasks:
- Summarize the presentation/documentary and describe the impacts of trade
on different groups of people and countries that were discussed.
- Discuss how the presentation/documentary relates to the lectures in week 1-3.
In doing so, you should discuss how the issues raised in the podcast affect
your understanding about one (or more) of the following concepts:
comparative advantage, the pattern of trade, and most importantly distribution
of gains and losses from trade.
- Share your opinion on the issues raised in the presentation/documentary.
- Cite the presentation/documentary (APA or Harvard style) and any other
source of information that you use in your report. Citation is not included in the
word limit.
This short report should be submitted via the submission link on Moodle no later than
17:00pm Sydney time Friday 14th June 2023.
