Assessment Task
Prepare and present the final version of your project as a team, including a demonstration
of the software that you have developed and a final project action plan review that provides
an overview of the project development process.
Context
You have reached the final stage of your project development process. Presenting final
products to colleagues offers workplace-based teams the opportunity to provide overviews
of the projects that they have been working on and address any questions from the
audience with a minimal turnaround time.
Page 2 of 11 ATW306_Assessment 3 Option 2_20240603

Project delivery is one of the major steps in a successful project. This assessment will assess
your programming skills, ability to follow a software plan, ability to analyse and manage
risks and ability to follow a quality management plan. The presentation will assess your
ability to effectively communicate your ideas to other stakeholders. The project action plan
review will measure your ability to reflect on the work you have been doing and your ability
to analyse and solve the problems that you faced.
Instructions
Congratulations! Your team is incredibly close to wrapping up the project that you have
been working so hard on! This final assessment is based on the project that you have been
working towards in the previous two assessments. You will need to formulate your
presentation and final project action plan with your learning facilitator’s ongoing feedback
in mind. Ensure that you are following the project plan that was submitted as part of
Assessment 2 and that any changes made are mentioned in this final presentation and
review.
Assessment 3 requires you to prepare a project action plan review and a 13–15 minute-
presentation in which you have the opportunity to demonstrate the software that you have
produced to your learning facilitator. Ensure that the software is of a high quality and
includes all the features that were proposed in the earlier assessments. For any features
that you were unable to provide, ensure that you mention the challenges experienced that
prevented their implementation.
Please follow the guidelines below for your project action plan review:
• Project Overview
o Discuss the purpose and goals of the project.
o Discuss the scope of the developed project.
• Final Product/Project Usage Scenarios
o Discuss how the final product is helpful to the business stakeholders that
were mentioned in the previous two assessments.
• Project Architecture/Component Diagram
o Provide technical details of the project, such as:
▪ the chosen programming language;
▪ any third-party libraries/tools used in the project;
▪ case diagrams;
▪ test-management (i.e., how you tested the developed application).
• Issues, Risk and Change Management
o Discuss how you managed the timelines, resources and team members.
• Individual Contribution
o Discuss the contribution you made to ensure the successful completion of the
report.
Page 3 of 11 ATW306_Assessment 3 Option 2_20240603

o Discuss any issues and challenges you faced and how you managed to
overcome those issues and challenges individually and within your team.
• Conclusion and Future Works
o Provide concluding remarks on the project and discuss the future directions
of the project.
NOTE: As it is a group-based project, all team members can use the same report for
submission with the exception of the ‘Individual Contribution’ section.
As you are also required to present your work as part of this assessment, prepare 5–
6 PowerPoint slides for presentation purposes. Use the following structure for your slides,
which will also guide the presentation itself.
• Slide 1
o Mention the project title and group members’ names.
• Slide 2:
o Provide an overview of the project, including the developed features in the
project.
• Slide 3:
o Discuss any changes to the initial project plan that your team made during
the execution of the project.
• Slide 4:
o Discuss the individual contributions that each team member made to the
project.
• Slide 5:
o Discuss the possible future directions for the project and provide any
concluding remarks.
NOTE: As it is a group-based project, all team members can use the same slides with the
exception of the ‘Individual Contribution’ slide.
For presentation purposes every team member must record a 13–15-minute presentation
using the above-mentioned slides along with the demonstration of the developed project.
Record your presentation as an MP4 file for submission. If the file is large, ask your learning
facilitator for guidance.
Referencing

It is essential that you use the appropriate APA style for citing and referencing research. For
more information on referencing, visit

Submission Instructions
Ensure that all group members individually upload the group project.
For the top sheet of the written component of your project, provide a working project title
and a list of all your team members. Save the written component of your Assessment, and
submit it as the title of your submission using the following naming convention:
ATW306LastNameFirstNameAssessment3
Please save the video recording as an MP4 file, and submit it as the title of your submission
using the following naming convention:
ATW306LastNameFirstNameAssessment3_video.MP4
Please also include the source code for the project.
All files should be zipped into the one folder.
Submit this task via the Assessment link in the main navigation menu in ATW306 Advanced
Tech: Work-Integrated Learning. The learning facilitator will provide feedback via the Grade
Centre in the LMS portal. Feedback can be viewed in My Grades.
Before you submit your assessment, please ensure that you have read and understand the
conditions outlined in the Academic Integrity Code Handbook. If you are unsure about
anything in the Handbook, please reach out to your learning facilitator.
Academic Integrity
All students are responsible for ensuring that all work submitted is their own and is
appropriately referenced and academically written according to the Academic Writing
Guide. Students also need to have read and be aware of Torrens University Australia
Academic Integrity Policy and Procedure and subsequent penalties for academic
misconduct. These are viewable online.
Students also must keep a copy of all submitted material and any assessment drafts.
Special Consideration
To apply for special consideration for a modification to an assessment or exam due to
unexpected or extenuating circumstances, please consult the Assessment Policy for Higher
Education Coursework and ELICOS and, if applicable to your circumstance, submit a
completed Application for Assessment Special Consideration Form to your Learning
Facilitator
