Numerical Data Exploration & Preparation 2. Text Preparation & Feature Generation • What this means: 1. You have completed basic data exploration and minimal data cleaning 2. You have applied essential text preparation functions appropriately Progress Check 2 • When: During your allocated tutorial in Week 12 • Requirement: As a guide, your work should be approaching the “Satisfactory” level for the following criteria: Model Building & Evaluation • What this means: Your basic model is correctly built and evaluated. Important Note on Progress Checks You must attend your allocated tutorial for the progress checks. There is no flexibility to change times. If you miss a progress check and your work in the relevant criteria is later assessed as “Very Good”, you will not be eligible for full marks. However, if your work is assessed as “Good” or lower, missing a progress check will not affect your mark. During the progress check, you will have 5 minutes to briefly walk your tutor through your work. Tutors will not provide any grade estimates during the progress check. They will only assess whether you have met the minimum expectations.
