Currently, MFit has multiple branches all over Australia and each branch is managed by one manager. Each branch offers multiple workout sessions to its clients. Each workout session is customised based on the training goals, which consist of fitness training, injury rehabilitation, and weight loss. One or more trainers can be assigned to a workout session, depending on the number of clients and the workout intensity. A client needs to sign up as a member in order to be able to attend classes. There are some membership options available for the client, which consist of Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Each client can only have one membership type at a time; however, they can change the membership type once their current membership expires. For instance, if a client signed up for Bronze membership from September 2019 to September 2020, then after the Bronze membership expires in September 2020, the client has the option to maintain his/her Bronze membership or change to Gold or Silver membership. At present, MFit has an existing operational database which maintains and stores all of the health club related information (such as workout sessions, members, trainers, etc.) required for the club’s daily operation. However, since the staff at MFit have limited database knowledge, MFit has decided to hire you to design and develop a Data Warehouse as well as producing Business Intelligence reports.
