BFF2701 S1 2021: Final Exam Information The final exam will consist of five questions: Question 1 (12 marks): Calculation and discussion. Question 2 (10 marks): Short essay/discussion. Question 3 (13 marks): Calculation and discussion. Question 4 (15 marks): Calculation and discussion. Question 5 (10 marks): Short essay. The final exam will have a total of 60 marks. The final exam will account for 60% of your final mark for this unit. All weeks are examinable. A formula sheet will not be provided. The exam will take the form of a 2 hour and 40 minute “Take Home Assessment”. You will receive the Take Home assessment in the form of a MS Word document. You are required to download the document and type your responses. You are required to submit your completed Take Home Assessment MS Word document through the Moodle submission portal prior to the 2 hour and 40 minute deadline. The submission portal will appear under the “Final Exam” tile on the Moodle page. I have posted some past final exams to help students prepare. Please note that the format of your final exam will be different to previous final exams. Please also note that the course structure has changed over the past couple of years. Hence, the material covered in previous final exams may be slightly different to the material that we have covered. The mid-semester test is a good indication of how calculation and short essay questions may be structured. Good luck! Marking Guide Grade Mark Guide High Distinction 8 – 10  The student provides an outstanding response that is well- articulated, entirely persuasive and complete.  The student demonstrates an impeccable and sophisticated understanding of the course material. Distinction 7 – 8  The student provides a very good response that nearly addresses all the key issues proposed in the exam question.  The student demonstrates a strong understanding of the course material. Credit 6 – 7  The student provides a good response but does not address all the key issues proposed in the exam question.  The student demonstrates a good understanding of the course material. Pass 5 – 6  The student provides a satisfactory response but does not address all the key issues proposed in the exam question and/or indicates some lack of knowledge.  The student demonstrates a basic understanding of the course material. Fail 0 – 4  The student provides a response that is inadequate, incomplete and/or incomprehensible.  The student does not demonstrate a basic understanding of the course material.
