Assessment 2 – Renaming Values by parameter

Objective:

To create dynamo scripts for several specified tasks.

Task:


1. Refer to the file provided:
a. sample_project – rac_advanced.rvt
b. 21_S2-Prog2-A02 - Datasheet.xlsx
2. Your task will be to produce several dynamo scripts for the following:
a. Refer to worksheet “Windows Types”, ensure Window type marks are
updated on the project.
b. Refer to worksheet “Doors Types”, ensure Door type marks are updated on
the project.
c. Update the Window family type names to have the following structure
– mm x mm
Ensure Width and Height retains original structure
3. Additional marks if string length similarity is considered.
4. Use Core nodes only. No custom packages allowed except for:
Clockwork’s Element.Category+ & Element.SetName
5. Submission shall be accommodated through Moodle only.

Submission includes the following:
 Separate .dyn file for every task listed above. Total 3 .dyn files required

Marks will be deducted for untidiness, incomplete or late work.
