ATC)

pilots losing control of the aircraft.
6) The assignment emphasis is on Simulation and Training. However, in your answers, you should
include all the factors that affected crew performance, operation, and training.

The reports indicate that the pilots did not know about one of the aircraft’s new automatic systems.
1) What was that system?
2) Explain as concisely as you can why that system did not operate correctly.

1) Were the pilots solely responsible for the accident?
2) List, with any comments you consider relevant, the flight control, technical and/or management
errors that the pilot’s made during the flight.


Question 3 30 Marks
With reference to this accident, what content and flight exercises should be included in the B737 Max pilot
simulator training program to improve pilot knowledge and skills?
