TIM 170 MOT Seminar: Term Paper B
Instructions for Term Paper B, (due on Canvas no later than Monday 06/06/2022,
7PM)
A. General feedback for the class based on reading Term Paper A
• The quality of work on Term Paper A ranged, for the most part, from very good (A) to
excellent (A+).
• If we made suggestions for improving Term Paper A, then, only if you choose, you can
use these suggestions to revise and re-submit your paper. Be sure to keep our comments
and suggestions firmly in mind as you work on Term Paper B (the new topic).
B. Instructions for Term Paper B (Topic 2) (due on Canvas no later than Monday,
06 June, 2022, 06/06/22, 7PM).
1. Choose a Topic for Term Paper B. For Term Paper B, choose at least one of the
eight speaker presentations for Winter 2022. The speaker presentation(s) that for you
choose for Part B must be different from the one(s) you selected for Term Paper A.
2. Term Paper B. Write Term Paper B using the guidelines that were given for writing
Term Paper A. Select an appropriate theme and create a structured outline for Term
Paper B. (Please remember to submit your outline with your paper.) Then expand this
outline into a short 1500–2000-word paper (approximately 6-8 double-spaced
pages), clearly structured into sections with appropriate headings for each section.
3. Integration. After completing Term Paper B, add a short creative 300-word section
showing possible links (connections) between Term Paper A and Term Paper B,
within the context of the management of technology. Call this section “Integration.”
4. Please remember to attach your outline at the end of the term paper.
5. Term Paper A re-submission: Only if you feel it necessary, you may resubmit Term
Paper A based on our feedback and suggestions. (If you are satisfied with your
performance on Term Paper A, you do not need to resubmit Term Paper A.)
6. Hand in the final version of your completed work (Term Paper A [only if you are
resubmitting]; Term Paper B; Integration); on Canvas no later than Monday, 06
June, 2022, 06/06/22, 7 PM.
Please note that this day/time is the official time required by the University to
submit the final work for this course.
