He is informed that Janet will help him with therequirements gathering activity. In their first meeting, Janet simply provides Tim with a list of 20 concepts on lowcarbon footprint – a requirements list she believes is accurate and sufficient. The list is vague and does not clearlyidentify the functional, non-functional and domain requirements. Further, Janet resides in Perth. Meeting her on aregular basis is a problem. Every time he emails her to set a time to call or Zoom, she postpones the meeting or does notrespond to his emails. When they actually email or Zoom, Janet provides Tim with a new list of requirements everytime they meet. They are 5 months into the project. Keep your answer brief to about a HALF page.Question 4 (15 marks): You are the project manager and as a part of the Change Management team, you are leadingthe rollout of an IT platform called ‘COVID Contact Tracer’ that maintains information about people, who someonewith COVID-19 has had contact with, and the locations the person has been when they are infectious. This projectrollout involves systems changes as well as process changes in the Victorian Department of Health Services. Thedelivery of this contact tracing system will involve significant change for the employees. The Department of HealthServices has recruited new staff with specialised skills for the contact tracing initiative; and at the same time hassuggested making some job roles redundant. Some staff are worried they might lose their jobs because of the rollout ofthe new system, and are beginning to show signs of resistance, anxiety and de-motivation in the work place. You andyour Change Management team have to manage resistance and conflicts experienced by some staff members during thischange, and also influence the newly recruited staff to adopt and use the ‘COVID Contact Tracer’ system.Address the following question:What strategies would you use for addressing change, as part of the Change Management Plan for the rollout of the‘COVID Contact Tracer’ system?
