Assignments – 44%
§ 1, 2 & 3 (44%) – your INDIVIDUAL mark not
your Group mark
Pre-class Activities,
Tutorial Quizzes and
Tutorial participation – 16%
§ Pre-class activities (best 8), Moodle quizzes
(best 8) and tutorial participation as assessed
by tutor
e-Exam – 40%
§ Two-hour, CLOSED invigilated book exam,
scheduled during the normal exam period.

Hurdle requirements
Must get
- At least 45% of the Assignment, Quiz and
Tutorial participation marks
- At least 45% of the Exam marks
If you just get 45% in each you will not pass
In addition, you must also get:
- At least 50% of the total marks - hopefully
much, much more

• 3 sections - 19 Questions
• Must answer ALL questions
• Use the marks allocation as a guide to how
much time to allocate to the answer.
• Do NOT use the space provided as a guide.

§ Start studying now – don’t wait until a few days before the exam
§ Understand the difference between list, describe, briefly discuss, discuss
§ Don’t just write everything you know about something when it is worth 2
marks – think very carefully about the time you have for a question
§ Go through ALL the resources provided for you in the Scheduled Final
Assessments section of Moodle

• Your assignments
• The support material for each tutorial
– Sample Exam questions
– Sample Exam questions discussion videos – ideally should attempt before
looking at the discussion video to get maximum benefit
– All Tutorial Quizzes – you have unlimited access … make sure you read the
feedback
– Pre-exam Consultation: Set times, and you can email us at any time to organize
a zoom session if you are unable to make a set consultation time
