Choose a Country/Nation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australia. Look at the
Aboriginal map of Australia to locate this. In your essay address the following questions:

Identify and analyse two or three examples of practice that can be either visual, design,
ideologically, environmentally (site specific) or performative based.

What are the ways of knowing that these practices aim to foster?

Discuss the relationship that these practices have to the context of its history- for example-
have they been modified/impacted by colonisation?

Discuss the cultural significance of the knowledge produced by the practice(s).

• Include images of your chosen visual examples as figures in your essay. Information
