Note :
1) Check CANVAS (Modules – Week 9) . There are two STRAND 7 files (CASE 1
and CASE 2) . These files can help you to get an idea of how to develop the
relevant geometry in STRAND 7. You can also consider the available files as a
bench mark . Use either AUTOCAD or Online Editor to create the initial geometry
in the STRAND 7.
2) The reported material properties in the provided journal papers can be used for
modeling bamboo. The following published papers a) Tahmasebinia et al, 2020 b)
Tahmasebinia et al, 2021, are available on CANVAS.
3) You can follow the same reported concept in the available journal papers to
prepare your final report. You don’t need to undertake a buckling and dynamic
analysis.
