Course synopsis
This course introduces students to the issues in international business and
globalization. Among the topics covered are international trade and investment,
international financial market, and management of international
operations.Course objectives :
1. To enable students to understand the impact of globalization and the key issues
facing international business.
2. To explain the factors in the international business environment such as
culture, politics, law, economic system and development.
3. To explain the conceptual foundation of international trade and investment.
4. To highlight the international markets and its institutions, including the
discussion of the international financial management and market entry.
5. To enable students to understand the management of international operations.
