The Myers Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI)
– A psychometric test designed to measure psychological preferences,
in how people perceive the world and make decisions
– Based on typologies developed by Carl Gustav Jung, in his book
Psychological Types (1921)
– Preferences in MBTI elaborated by Katharine Cook Briggs and her
daughter Isabel Briggs Myers in the 1940s
