Assessment 2 – Leadership Presentation (Group Assessment 30%)
Before the Assessment
• The assessment aligns with CLO1 and CLO2.
• The assessment has two components, “Leadership Presentation” and “Executive Challenge.”
• Students will form 5 assessment groups and can select team members in Week 1 tutorial.
• Tutors will confirm the group allocation and assessment schedules before Week 2 tutorial.
• Students will participate in the assessment in Week 4-5 and 7-9 tutorials as assigned in the schedules.
• Designated business cases will be available on moodle two weeks before the presentation week.
• Students must refer to the assessment rubric for assessment preparation.

“Leadership Presentation” Brief (20%, Group Component)
• Each group will have 25 minutes (maximum) to present on the pre-determined case questions.
• Students must address all case questions in the presentation.
• Students are expected to use PowerPoints (PPT) in the presentation and upload the PPT in Turnitin
before the tutorials.
• The presentation group will respond to peers’ Executive Challenge questions using course learning
and the case context.
• Students must address the “impactful presentation” task criterion
• Students will receive a group grade for the task.
“Executive Challenge” Brief (10%, Individual Component)
• Students will participate in the “Executive Challenge” on two occasions (as scheduled) and earn up to
5 marks for each participation.
• Students must prepare, research and study the cases before attending tutorials.
• Students will act as business leaders, apply active listening skills, comprehend peers’ presentations
and ask high-level case questions to elaborate on the case discussions and promote interactive

• Students must address the “relevant and collaborative Executive Challenge questions” task criterion.
• Students will receive individual marks for the task.
Example Executive Challenge questions
• In the Gucci case, how does Gucci’s new vegan leather collection meet Gen Y’s psychological needs?
• In the Gucci case, what would be an effective strategy for Gucci to combat the fast fashion social
trend?
Guidelines
• Students are required to agree on a group contract, which is due in Turnitin by 5pm Monday, Week
3.
• Peer evaluation (if applicable) must be received in Turnitin before the “Leadership Presentation”.
