• Demand from Clients (client input)
• Shifting Market Dynamics
Internal Forces:

Lecture summary
1. The case for change is one of the most important things a change
manager can do when they start a project
2. It helps to define the North Star and helps you as the manager clarify the
type of change support required
3. It also helps you identify the key stakeholders that will be impacted by
the change – which is a critical element of change activity – creating a
coalition to support the change (more on that next week)
Take this effort very seriously – make sure you are prepared for your
conversations and make sure you identify the right people to engage upfront
